Hygenic Recommendations:

Instruments have to be disinfected and, if necessary, sterilized before use. 

Disinfection and cleaning:
Put instruments into a bath with suitable disinfection and cleansing liquid.
Afterwards, clean the instruments manually or by ultrasonic bath.
After cleaning the instruments, dry immediately.

Sterilization:
Following the disinfection and cleaning, the instruments can be sterilized in the autoclave, chemiclave, or hot-air sterilizer.
Before the sterilization, the instruments have to be put into a case or foil permeable to germs and suitable for sterilization.
After the sterilization, the instruments in the case or foil should be kept in a dry and dust free place.
